I founded the company in 1999, the same year my two boys and I moved to Florida. Originally, the company offered services for tourists, translations, and property management. At first I worked alone, later I had some help in taking care of German-owned homes in Fort Myers Beach and Cape Coral. The job also included services for the vacation guests who rented these properties, such as transfers, boat tours, and trips by car.

I worked in the tourism industry in Germany for 35 years, including 25 years of running my own business, and had plenty of experience to handle the demands of the company in Florida.

On the side, I translated websites and restaurant menus into German for some clients, since this area is a popular destination for vacationers from Germany. The original company developed into reservationdesk.net. You are looking at the website right now.
